In a major raid, the Delhi Police Crime Branch found a big racket making fake branded products in the capital. During the operation, more than one lakh fake ENO sachets and 50,000 fake Nescafé coffee sachets were seized.
The raid took place in Madhu Vihar by the Cyber Cell and Crime Branch teams, where two illegal factories were discovered. Officials said in an X post that four accused have been arrested, showing that the racket was well organized.
Since popular products like ENO and Nescafé are involved, this case has raised serious concerns about consumer safety and the dangers of fake food and healthcare products in the market.

Illegal units busted and arrests made
According to NDTV reports, police officials said that two illegal factories were running in the area, making fake sachets that looked very similar to original branded products. Four people involved in the racket were arrested during the raid.
The scale of the operation shows that these fake products were likely being supplied widely and could have reached many unaware consumers across the city.
Machinery and materials seized
According to NDTV reports, during the raid, police recovered filling machines, raw materials, and large amounts of packaging material used to duplicate original branding. This indicates that the fake products were being manufactured in bulk.

Operation led by Crime Branch officials
As per NDTV reports, the operation was led by Inspectors Manjeet Kumar and Pradeep Singh, under the supervision of ACP Swagat Patil Rajkumar and DCP Rahool Alwal. The Delhi Police shared details of the action on its official X handle.
Officials have advised people to stay alert while buying packaged products and to choose only trusted sources to avoid health risks. They warned that fake items can be dangerous if consumed regularly.
