Three people have been detained by the police after an alleged conspiracy to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar's Buxar district was foiled, marking a significant security breakthrough. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a home in the Simri Police Station area and arrested the main accused, Aman Tiwari, The Daily Jagran reported.

Following the information provided by the primary culprit, the police also arrested two more individuals. All three are being continuously interrogated to uncover the entire network and motive, according to Buxar SP Shubham Arya.
Contacted CIA for support
The police investigation found that the accused had sent a proposal to the US intelligence organisation CIA, requesting a big amount of money in exchange for this operation. He also allegedly asked for 22 days to carry out the task, The Daily Jagran reported.
A national security concern
During the raid, police seized a laptop and other electronic devices from the accused’s residence. Investigators said the equipment is being forensically examined to gather further evidence linked to the alleged conspiracy.

Officials added that the probe is ongoing. The superintendent of police said leads emerging from the accused’s interrogation are being pursued to identify possible additional links and establish the full scope of the conspiracy. The incident has triggered serious national security concerns, though officials said timely intervention helped avert any potential threat.
