A leopard spread panic in the Civil Lines area at the heart of Jaipur city on Thursday morning. This area is home to many ministers and senior government officials. The leopard's arrival has caused widespread panic in the area.

It is learned that the leopard also entered the house of Rajasthan's Water Resources Minister Suresh Rawat. After prolonged efforts, forest department officials rescued the leopard.

The Amgarh and Jhalana forests are located near Jaipur. Reports of leopards emerging from there are received from time to time. The forest department estimates that the leopard came out from one of these two forests.

The forest department said that the leopard was first seen entering the premises of a private school. After leaving that school, the leopard was seen roaming around multiple locations in the Civil Lines area. The leopard was also seen entering the house of Rajasthan's Suresh Rawat.

As soon as news of the leopard sighting was received, a large team from the forest department arrived and attempted to rescue the leopard. Every resident of the Civil Lines area was instructed to stay inside their homes.

After several hours of effort, forest department officials managed to capture the leopard in a cage.

The Civil Lines area houses the Chief Minister of Rajasthan's residence, Congress leader Sachin Gehlot's house, and the residences of many other leaders and ministers. The leopard's entry into such a high-security zone has naturally raised questions about security arrangements. Although the leopard has been rescued, locals remain in a state of panic.
