Final SIR voter list to be published today
The Election Commission will publish the final SIR voter list in the state on Saturday afternoon. According to the Commission, the names of at least 7 crore 8 lakh voters will be included in the list. Attention across the state is now focused on who has made it to the voter roll and whose names are missing.

Massive fire breaks out at dawn at UP, clinic and warehouse gutted
A major fire broke out early Saturday morning in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. Around 6 am, a blaze suddenly erupted on the ground floor of a house and quickly spread to a nearby e-rickshaw agency, a clinic and a warehouse. Three fire engines rushed to the spot after receiving the alert, and the fire was brought under control after prolonged efforts. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
