Bank customers across India may face several branch closures in March 2026 as many states observe holidays for festivals such as Holi, Ramzan-Id, and Ram Navami, along with region-specific celebrations. The schedule is based on the holiday calendar of banks under the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, which observe bank holidays depending on local festivities.

Customers are advised to refer to the holiday schedule in advance to avoid inconvenience during planning of visits for depositing cash, clearance of cheque payments, and other branch-related services.
