Fresh footage captured by the CCTV cameras has raised fresh concerns regarding the incident of stone-pelting and property damage by a group of men outside the coaching institute of the educator Khan Sir.
The violent incident occurred on Tuesday night in Khan Global Coaching Institute located in the Kadamkuan locality in Patna city. The case has now been lodged against the accused and an inquiry has been initiated into the matter.
As per sources, the security guard deployed at the coaching institute had suffered injuries in the attack. Police have revealed that the CCTV footage will be carefully analyzed to establish the identity of all those involved in the attack.

Police identify suspects, launch investigation
Investigators said preliminary findings suggest that around 15 to 20 individuals allegedly linked to another coaching institute in Patna may have been involved in the vandalism.
An FIR has been registered, and police teams have launched raids to trace the suspects. Officials said between 10 and 12 people have already been identified through CCTV footage and other evidence collected from the scene.

Patna City SP Diksha said all available video recordings are being scrutinised and the matter remains under active investigation. Police have also confirmed that one injured individual is receiving medical treatment. Security around the institute was increased immediately after the attack, with police personnel deployed in the area to prevent any further escalation.
Khan Sir alleges firing during attack
Speaking to reporters after the incident, educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, alleged that anti-social elements attacked the institute, assaulted the security guard and even opened fire.
He claimed the attackers were upset over the institute’s growing popularity and its record of producing successful results at affordable fees. Police have not yet publicly confirmed the firing allegation and said all claims are being verified as part of the investigation.

It is clear that this incident has generated much ire among students who have since come out in large numbers, urging quick action against the culprits.

Videos of the incident have been posted by people showing the presence of policemen as students shout slogans demanding action to ensure such an incident never happens again. While some students were afraid of their own safety in places of learning, Khan Sir advised the students not to react harshly as they were still investigating the matter.
According to him, it would be wise if the students let the investigating agencies deal with the matter and arrest all those behind the attack using the CCTV footage that was obtained.
