The investigation into the Delhi blast widened on Friday, with two doctors from Nuh and two fertiliser-and-seed traders from Sohna detained for questioning. As of now Al-Falah University in Faridabad continues to face scrutiny from multiple Central and state agencies.

Detentions linked to suspected terror module

According to The Tribune, police picked up Dr Mustkim, a resident of Sunhera village, who recently completed his apprenticeship at Al-Falah University on November 2 and allegedly travelled to Delhi on November 9. While officials have not formally confirmed his detention, sources say he is being questioned over possible links.

Another doctor from Nuh, Dr Rehan, a former Al-Falah student currently working at a private hospital, was also detained from Ward 3, the report added.

Meanwhile, two fertiliser and seed sellers from Sohna’s new grain market were detained on suspicion of supplying chemicals to those connected with the terror module. Following this, Gurugram authorities have tightened fertiliser distribution, allowing sales only to farmers registered on the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal.

Raids, campus panic & land records under probe

Fresh raids were conducted by NIA and J&K Police at the Al-Falah University campus on Friday morning. Faridabad Police launched large-scale combing operations across markets, congested areas and mosques in response to the region-wide high alert.

As highlighted in The Tribune, more than 1,200 students have stopped attending classes after the university’s name surfaced in the Red Fort Metro station blast probe. Several parents are withdrawing their wards, and around nine professors have reportedly emailed resignations, though the university has not accepted them. OPD services at the campus hospital have also been disrupted.
