CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam city slip released: Check your allotted city

NTA has released the advance exam city slip for CSIR UGC NET December 2025. Candidates can now check their allotted exam city for the December 18 exam. Here’s how to download.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the advance exam city slip for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination. Candidates appearing for the Joint CSIR–UGC NET can now download the document from the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.

Exam on December 18 in two shifts

The exam is scheduled for December 18, 2025, and will be held in two sessions:

Shift 1 (9 am – 12 noon):

Life Sciences, Earth Atmospheric Ocean & Planetary Sciences

Shift 2 (3 pm – 6 pm):

Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences

The exam city slip informs candidates about the city where their allocated centre will be located. NTA clarified that this is not the admit card; the hall ticket will be issued separately.

How to download the CSIR UGC NET exam city slip?

Visit csirnet.nta.nic.in

Click on the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2025 Advance exam city slip link that is available on the home page.

Enter your proper application number, date of birth, and security pin

Submit the details to view your exam city slip

After that download and print the slip for reference

NTA advised candidates to check the slip carefully and keep a hard copy for future use.
