The Rajasthan government will continue to involve young people in policymaking while creating more opportunities in employment, education, entrepreneurship and sports, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said on Tuesday. Speaking at the ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ programme in Jaipur, Bhajanlal Sharma stressed that the aspirations and ideas of the state’s youth would remain central to the government’s development agenda.
He said young people bring fresh thinking and energy, making their participation essential for building a stronger Rajasthan and contributing to the vision of a developed India.
Bhajanlal Sharma highlights jobs and recruitment drive
Addressing students, sportspersons and young professionals, Bhajanlal Sharma said the state government has provided more than 1.78 lakh government jobs over the past two and a half years. Recruitment is currently underway for nearly 51,000 vacancies, while over 80,000 posts have already been included in the state’s recruitment calendar.
The Chief Minister added that preparations are also being made to recruit candidates for more than 70,000 additional positions in the coming months.
According to Bhajanlal Sharma, the government has also facilitated around 4.5 lakh employment opportunities in the private sector as part of its broader employment strategy.

Crackdown on paper leaks and boost for startups
Bhajanlal Sharma said the government has adopted a strict approach against examination malpractices to restore confidence among students.
He informed the gathering that a Special Investigation Team has been constituted to investigate paper leak cases and related irregularities. So far, 569 people have been arrested, while 410 examinations have been conducted without any reported leak.
The Chief Minister also highlighted Rajasthan’s growing startup ecosystem. He said more than 4,600 startups have been registered under the Rajasthan Startup initiative, with financial assistance of ₹34 crore provided to over 1,000 startups through the i-Start fund.

Government focuses on sports and youth participation
Highlighting the government’s sports initiatives, Bhajanlal Sharma said Rajasthan is strengthening sports infrastructure by developing academies and improving training facilities for athletes.
He noted that programmes such as the Rajasthan Target Olympic Podium Scheme and the Khelo India University Games are helping the state gain greater recognition in competitive sports.
During the event, Bhajanlal Sharma also launched a logo design competition for the Sapno Ki Udaan programme and interacted directly with students, NCC cadets and volunteers. He sought their suggestions on education, competitive examinations and career opportunities, reiterating that youth participation will continue to influence government policies.
