The former Myntra CEO will officially assume charge on August 3, replacing Amitesh Kumar Jha, who has stepped down to pursue new opportunities. Speaking on her appointment, Nandita Sinha said Instamart has transformed the way Indians shop for everyday essentials and added that she is excited to work with employees, partners and customers to shape the platform’s future.
Her appointment comes at a time when India’s quick commerce sector is witnessing aggressive competition, with companies investing heavily to expand delivery networks and improve customer experience.

Experience across India’s biggest consumer brands
Before joining Swiggy, Nandita Sinha served as CEO of Myntra, where she helped the fashion e-commerce platform strengthen its leadership position while achieving EBITDA profitability in 2024.
Her career spans more than two decades across leading consumer businesses, including Flipkart, Britannia and Hindustan Unilever.
An alumna of IIT (BHU) Varanasi and the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi, Nandita Sinha has built a reputation for combining customer-focused innovation with disciplined business execution.
Her expertise covers strategy, operations, marketing and scaling consumer businesses across multiple industries.

Swiggy expects Nandita Sinha to build on the momentum created under outgoing CEO Amitesh Kumar Jha, who helped strengthen Instamart’s differentiated product assortment and improve contribution margins.
