Missile strikes near their home. No salary for two months. Flights suspended. Three young men from Uttar Pradesh are stranded in Bahrain as tensions escalate in West Asia due to the Iran-Israel-USA conflict.

The stranded men are Riaz and Ayaz, residents of Banda district, and their nephew Suleman. They had gone to Bahrain about two years ago in search of work. Initially, everything was normal. However, the situation changed after the conflict between Iran and Israel intensified. Reports of missile attacks in parts of the region followed. Air travel was disrupted. Several flights were suspended.

Suleman had planned to return to India due to illness. But with flight services affected, his return has become uncertain.

Financial distress and fear

In a recent video message sent to his family in Banda, Suleman said the situation is worsening day by day. He claimed he was recently laid off from work. He has not received his salary for the past two months. He said he is now facing a financial crisis and finding it difficult to arrange food.

He also said a missile struck a residential building some distance from where they live, causing a fire. Since then, panic has spread in the area.

"People are very scared. We are in serious trouble. We appeal to the Indian government to bring us back to the country as soon as possible," Suleman said.

Administration starts data collection

Family members in Banda said they are in regular phone contact with the three men. They said the trio is safe for now, but the war situation has increased their anxiety.

"They are very scared. We want the government to quickly arrange to bring them back to the country," a family member said.
