Youngest & fastest to 500 IPL runs

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi became the youngest player ever to score 500 IPL runs at just 15 years and 26 days, breaking Prithvi Shaw’s record. He has become one of the youngest players to reach big milestones, pushing former RR captain Sanju Samson (19 years and 195 days) down to third place in the youngest-to-500-runs list. He also became the fastest to reach this milestone in terms of balls faced, doing it in only 227 deliveries and beating Glenn Maxwell’s record.

According to Times of India reports, his overall season has been very strong with 506 runs in 14 matches at an average of 36.14 and a strike rate above 213. He has also hit two very quick fifties off just 15 balls, which are among the fastest in IPL history.

Earlier, he grabbed attention with a 35-ball century against the Gujarat Titans, which is the fastest by an Indian in IPL and second-fastest overall. Even after a quiet match recently, he is still RR’s top scorer this season with 254 runs, showing his powerful and fearless batting at the top.

Ravindra Jadeja guides RR to finish strong

While Sooryavanshi was in the headlines, Ravindra Jadeja also played an important role in Rajasthan Royals’ win. As per Times of India reports, he scored an unbeaten 43 and took a key wicket, which helped him win the Player of the Match award, which he dedicated to his wife Rivaba Jadega. He said the pitch was difficult and praised his smart changes in pace, which worked well against LSG batters like Nicholas Pooran.

According to Times of India report, RR captain Riyan Parag said the team could have scored more runs, but he was happy with the bowlers. He praised Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger for bowling well and helping RR win by 40 runs easily.

RR’s win helps them move closer to the playoffs, while LSG are still at the bottom and facing more pressure after another loss.
