There's no need to sit around desperately waiting for job notifications anymore. You won't have to search various websites daily either. Artificial Intelligence or AI will now do that job for you. Vidyasagar University has introduced such an AI-based job searching tool.
Vice-Chancellor Dipakkumar Kar says, "This initiative is taken keeping students' convenience in mind. Students will easily get information about all jobs across the country in an instant. They can also apply for them."
For the past few years, many have complained that the job market is sluggish now. Employment opportunities are also very limited. But even amid this, recruitment notifications from various private or government organizations are seen.
But how would one know which day, which organization published a recruitment notification?

At one time, multiple newspapers used to be published in the state to provide job information. Unemployed young men and women would regularly collect them and apply according to their qualifications. It's not that job advertisements aren't published in various newspapers and magazines now. They are also published on various websites. But how many places can a job seeker search for advertisements throughout the day.
To solve this problem, the university authorities decided to launch an AI-based job searching tool created by a private organization. Government and private job notifications will be displayed on a giant screen. All information including the qualifications required for those jobs and the salary will be available.
There will also be a QR code. By scanning that QR code, one can apply directly online. According to university sources, this tool will be under the responsibility of the Computer Science Department and Training & Placement Cell. The giant screen will be placed on a stand. As a result, it can easily be moved from one place to another.
Biswapati Jana, Head of Computer Science Department, says, "This tool collects information about all jobs from home and abroad twice a day. Then they continuously appear on the screen. All university students will instantly get all job-related information."

Biswapati adds, "So that all students can avail this opportunity, the giant screen will be placed in turns in front of the administrative building, in front of the canteen, library and in front of various departments. Students are also excited about getting government and private job notifications from across the country at their fingertips. The entire matter was made public on Wednesday itself. On the very first day, crowds gathered in front of the giant screen."
MTech student Ritwik Acharya and MCA third semester student, Ankit De say, "This is an extremely commendable and necessary initiative. Thanks to technology, the world is literally now in our palms. Then why should job news be left out. Many students like us will benefit."
Biswapati says, "Initially, if students have difficulty understanding any matter, we will help them. Gradually, students will be able to help each other." The university authorities have said that along with finding jobs through this tool, they will also look into ensuring that students achieve success.
