IBPS Clerk Mains result out — check status, scorecard and next steps

According to the notification, allotment for Chandigarh has not been included in the current result announcement.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the result of the IBPS Clerk Mains Examination 2025 on March 2, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check and download their scorecards through the official website, ibps.in. The result marks an important stage in the recruitment process for Customer Service Associate (CSA) posts across participating banks.

According to the notification, allotment for Chandigarh has not been included in the current result announcement. Candidates who have qualified will proceed to the next stages of recruitment, which include document verification and a medical examination before final onboarding.

Exam overview

The mains examination was conducted on November 29 and December 2, 2025, as part of the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for clerical cadre positions. The recruitment drive aims to fill 15,701 vacancies for Customer Service Associates in various public sector banks.

Before reaching the mains stage, candidates had cleared earlier phases of the selection process, including the preliminary examination and a language proficiency test.

The examination followed a negative marking system, with one-fourth of the marks deducted for every incorrect answer.

How to download scorecard

Candidates can access their results by following these steps:

Visit the official website: ibps.in

Click on the "CRP Clerical Cadre" section on the homepage.

Select the link titled "Result of Online Main Examination".

Enter your registration number and password.

View and download the result for future reference.

Applicants are advised to keep a copy of the scorecard saved for the upcoming verification stages.

The IBPS Clerk mains scorecard contains key information related to the candidate and examination, including candidate’s name, father’s name, category and sub-category, state applied for, mains examination date, qualifying status and eligibility criteria.

For this recruitment cycle, the age limit was set between 20 and 28 years, with August 1, 2025, considered as the cut-off date for age calculation. Age relaxation provisions were applicable as per government rules.
