The State Bank of India (SBI) has started the application process for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts for the year 2026. Eligible candidates can apply for a total of 116 vacancies available for senior and middle-level posts.
The recruitment exercise also includes Assistant Vice President and Deputy Manager posts in audit and chartered accountant categories. Candidates can apply through the official website of SBI, sbi.co.in, and the last date for application is March 15, 2026.

Vacancy details across posts
As per the official notification, the 116 vacancies are allocated as follows:
Assistant Vice President: 12 posts
Deputy Manager (IS Audit): 43 posts
Deputy Manager (CA): 61 posts
These are specialised posts in SBI’s specialist cadre, which is more oriented towards professional skills in auditing, finance, and information systems, and less towards banking operations.
Eligibility and selection process
The candidates need to fulfill the educational and professional requirements as mentioned in the recruitment notification, which will be available on the website of SBI.
The selection process will be based on an interview only. The merit list will be prepared by SBI on the basis of the interview performance, in descending order. If two or more candidates have obtained the same marks, then the candidates will be ranked on the basis of their age, and the older candidates will be ranked higher in the merit list.
Application fee and payment details
The application fee for candidates belonging to General, EWS, and OBC categories is ₹750. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

The application fee needs to be paid online through debit card, credit card, or internet banking facilities available through the payment gateway provided during the application process. The transaction charges, if any, will be payable by the applicant.
