The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an advisory for the applicants of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and SSF and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination 2026.

With December 31 as the deadline to submit forms online, the advisory urged candidates to complete the process within the stipulated time frame. Applying on the last day could lead to heavy traffic on the website and cause glitches, stated the advisory.

The SSC has also made it clear that it would not extend the deadline.
