Glycerin and aloe vera gel
If you have dry skin along with acne, try making a combination of glycerin and aloe vera gel. The mixture controls excess oil while it keeps the skin hydrated. In place of other lotions or creams, you can apply the mixture of two teaspoons of aloe vera gel mixed with one teaspoon of glycerin. This blend protects your skin from dryness and damage during extreme winter days.
Glycerin and vitamin E
Glycerin and vitamin E capsules work well for extremely dry skin. Take out the oil from a vitamin E capsule and add it to one teaspoon of glycerin. Apply this before going to bed as it will prevent dryness, and it also delays the appearance of fine lines.
