The Bengal U19 team delivered a strong batting against Goa in the Cooch Behar Trophy 2025/26 Elite match. Batting first, the Bengal players scored 293 runs for the loss of five wickets by the end of the day at the Bengal Cricket Academy in Kalyani.
Openers Atmaja Mondal and Aditya Roy provided a strong start by forming a partnership of 108 runs, scoring 63 and 79 runs, respectively. Captain Chandrahas Dhash, who was recently appointed as the captain for India D in the U19 Challenger Trophy, contributed with 55 runs off 102 balls.

Goa has won all three of its matches in the league and is currently at the top of Elite Group D. Bengal is in second place in the group with 14 points. Goa secured victories against Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Chhattisgarh. Bengal won two of their three matches this season; their only loss came against Chhattisgarh, which was also their first match of the season.
The elite group D includes the following regions: Goa, West Bengal, Assam, Chhattisgarh, and Chandigarh. Bengal captain Chandrahas Dhas is the second run scorer of the season so far.
