India is all set to play their only warm-up match against South Africa. As the Indian players are coming with blistering form, the challenge for South Africa will be high, though they are also coming with a series win against the West Indies. In the West Indies series, De Kock won the man of the match award. This match will emphasise finding the right combination. As the pitches will be overlooked by ICC, how the pitch will react will be important to see.

Sanju to get one more chance?

The Indian team will look forward to bringing out the best from the out-of-form players. Sanju will lead the charge on this matter as he is coming from a devastating series, experts believe that Sanju himself ended his chances to be the first choice opener. The toss-up between the two wicketkeepers Sanju and Ishan will be interesting to see. Also, how will the Indian team make place for Tilak Varma it will be a matter to follow.

Washington Sundar to miss the warm-up match

Till now, there is no confirmation about Washington Sundar. He is in a race with time and is waiting to be fit for the marquee event. As per reports of Crex, he is in CoE and currently recovering from the rib injury. He is expected to undergo a fitness test on Tuesday. According to reports a shade of light will come after Tuesday's assessment.

The warm-up match will be played at D.Y. Patil Stadium from 7 p.m., and the match will be broadcast on Star Sports and can be streamed on Jio Hotstar.
