The highly anticipated wedding of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been put on hold indefinitely after an unexpected and distressing development within the Mandhana family.
According to Smriti’s business manager, Tuhin Mishra, Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered a heart attack while preparations were underway at the Mandhana Farm House in Samdol, Sangli.
The couple was set to tie the knot on November 23 in the presence of close family members, friends, and fans in Sangli, Maharashtra. Many members of the Indian women’s cricket team, fresh off their ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 victory, had also joined in the celebrations.
