Apple is planning major updates to its product lineup for 2026. While 2025 primarily focused on design and performance upgrades, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to introduce multiple new devices and several long-awaited enhancements next year. According to a report by 9to5Mac, significant changes could be seen across Apple's ecosystem in 2026. Here's a look at five major Apple products that could launch next year.

New Studio Display

Apple is reportedly preparing to release a new Studio Display, marking its first major update since 2022. The new display could measure 27 inches and may feature mini-LED technology, offering improved brightness and contrast. Additionally, it might come equipped with a more powerful chip, potentially the A19 Pro, replacing the current A13 Bionic. While this may seem like a minor update, it could have a significant impact on Apple's monitor market.

New design MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro may receive its first major design overhaul since 2021. The new model is expected to be thinner and lighter and could feature an OLED display for the first time. Reports also suggest the possibility of a touchscreen and 5G connectivity. Under the hood, it may be powered by the M6 chip, potentially manufactured using 2-nanometer technology.

Apple's first foldable iPhone

After years of speculation, Apple may finally launch a foldable iPhone with a book-like folding design. The inner display could measure 7.8 inches, while the outer screen may be 5.5 inches. Apple is reportedly focusing on minimising fold marks on the screen. This device may feature Touch ID instead of Face ID, and a titanium frame could be used to enhance durability.

New smart home device

Apple could introduce a new smart home device, reportedly called the HomePad. This device may come with a 7-inch display and run on a dedicated operating system for smart home control. It is expected to make greater use of Apple Intelligence and feature an upgraded Siri, which could explain the delay in its release.

New low-cost MacBook

Apple is also planning a more affordable MacBook, positioned below the MacBook Air. This laptop may use the A18 Pro chip instead of the M series and feature a 13-inch display. If priced around $699, it could become one of Apple's most budget-friendly laptops, aimed at students and new users.
