This complaint has come at a time when officially no problems with IRCTC have surfaced, according to all-India news media sources. Users complained that despite repeated attempts, tatkal tickets could not be booked. However, no statement has been received from IRCTC.
One person complained on social media, 'If IRCTC tatkal booking is only for brokers, then this service should be stopped. Whenever we try to book tatkal, problems arise.'

Someone named Anurag Shukla wrote, 'This IRCTC online tatkal booking is one of the railway's frauds...until 10-11 AM, online tatkal booking shows errors for 5 minutes, so that agent and counter booking gets done during that time.'
