A woman has accused a fellow passenger of sexually harassing her while she was travelling on a BMTC bus in Bengaluru.
An official said the bus was passing through the Manyata Tech Park area when the incident happened.

The incident took place on Thursday, July 23, on bus route 500D/40.

According to the victim’s complaint, accessed by CNN-News18, the accused touched her inappropriately during the journey.

How the driver responded
The woman confronted the accused and complained to the driver, who then stepped in. He shut the bus doors immediately so the man could not run away.

A video of the incident is now circulating on social media. It shows the woman and the driver confronting the accused. In the middle of the commotion, the driver is seen slapping the man after hearing the woman’s complaint.
