Canadian journalist Claire Hanna's lost AirPods are now causing a stir on social media. The tiny headphones she left on a flight have now embarked on a world tour. The amusing part is that Claire is now tracking her AirPods as they travel from one country to another. Claire has also shared all the tracking information on social media. That post has now gone viral on social media.
This mishap occurred while Claire was travelling to cover the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics. She accidentally left her AirPods on an Air Canada flight from Toronto to Rome.

Claire reported that her AirPods had fallen under the airplane seat. She realised they were missing after going through customs. When she contacted the Air Canada desk, the staff searched the plane. However, they reported that nothing was found on the aircraft. Claire then began tracking the headphones' location using her phone. It was revealed that the AirPods were merrily flying from Rome's Fiumicino Airport to Montreal Airport.

Once Claire's post went viral, it caught the attention of Air Canada authorities. Air Canada expressed regret through a social media post. The airline also requested Claire's booking details. Air Canada stated that they would try to locate the AirPods.
