Money was supposed to be disbursed under the 'Banglar Yuvasathi' (Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme) project from April 1. But on Saturday, she made a major announcement from the dharna stage at Dharmatala (Mamata Banerjee Dharna at Dharmatala).
She announced that Yuvasathi money will start being deposited into bank accounts from today, March 7, not April 1. If you have applied, you can check the current status of your application with one click. There is a specific portal for that. How to check application status?
You can check application status by visiting the Banglar Yuvasathi portal. For that, you need to click https://yubasathi.wb.gov.in/. When the page opens, go to Application Status and see Check Status. You can also check status from the Amader Para Amader Samadhan portal. Click https://apas.wb.gov.in/ and from there you can also enter the Banglar Yuvasathi portal to check status.
Can applications still be submitted?
From February 15, Yuvasathi forms were distributed through camps at 294 assembly centers in the state. The government also provided an online application option. It was initially announced that forms could be filled up until February 28. Therefore, the online application submission period is currently over. If applications are accepted again later, it will be announced by the government.
How many applications have been submitted so far?
On Saturday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that 90 lakhs to nearly 1 crore boys and girls have applied for this Yuvasathi project. Those aged 21 to 40 years and not receiving money from any other government scheme will get a monthly allowance of one and a half thousand rupees (1500 rupees). Those who have passed secondary or equivalent examinations and have not yet found employment will be eligible for this allowance. This money will stop when they get a job.

Who will not receive this money?
Those receiving Lakshmir Bhandar or other scholarships will not get this money. However, those who receive benefits from projects like Kanyashree, Medhashree, Aikyashree, Sikshashree, Sabuj Sathi, Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, Taruner Swapner will also receive Yubashree money.
