The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) results were announced today, April 30, 2026, at 11 am by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Students can now access and download their Class 10 and Class 12 scorecards from the council's official website, cisce.org, or through DigiLocker using their UID and index number.
The ICSE (Class 10) exams took place from February 17 to March 30. The ISC (Class 12) exams were held from February 12 to April 3.
Congratulating students, West Bengal Chief Minister extended her greetings to all the students in a post on X, "Heartiest congratulations to all my dear students for passing the ICSE and ISC exams! I am very, very happy for your result. My best wishes are always there for your bright future and all your upcoming works.

Passing percentage
The overall pass percentage was recorded at 99.18 per cent for Class 10. "The results indicate consistently high levels of achievement, with overall pass percentages remaining above 99%. The ISC (Class XII) examination recorded an overall pass percentage of 99.13%, with girls securing 99.48% and boys 98.81%," NDTV cited an official release by CISCE.
How to check ICSE, ISC results online
To view results, candidates need to choose the relevant course option, ICSE or ISC, from the dropdown menu. After that, they must enter their Unique ID, Index Number and CAPTCHA. The result page will also include an option to download or print the scorecard.

Apart from the main website, results are also accessible through DigiLocker. Students must visit https://results.digilocker.gov.in, select the CISCE section, and enter details such as Index Number, Unique ID and Date of Birth to retrieve their marks.
Recheck process and important dates
Candidates who wish to request a recheck can apply between May 1 and May 4, 2026. Applications can be submitted through the ‘Public Services’ section after logging into the CISCE service portal.
The council has stated, “The Recheck module will be activated a day after the Declaration of Main Examination Results, i.e. 1st May 2026 and will be available till 4th May 2026.”
The fee is ₹1,000 per paper for ICSE and ₹1,000 per subject for ISC.
