US President Donald Trump has issued a fresh warning to Iran amid continuing disagreements over nuclear negotiations and ceasefire conditions.
The warning came after Tehran reportedly gave a lukewarm response to Washington’s five-point proposal aimed at reviving talks between the two countries.
“For Iran, the Clock is ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won't be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Trump-Netanyahu call focuses on Iran
Trump’s remarks came shortly after a phone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday.

According to Israeli media outlet Kan cited by NDTV, the two leaders discussed the possibility of renewed conflict involving Iran. Trump also reportedly briefed Netanyahu about his recent visit to China during the conversation.
US proposal and Iran’s demands
Earlier, Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reported that the United States had put forward a five-point list during negotiations.
The reported proposal included transferring uranium to Washington and placing restrictions on Iran’s nuclear programme. The report also claimed that the US refused to release even 25 per cent of Iran’s frozen assets or compensate Tehran for damage suffered during the war.
Iran, on the other hand, has called for an end to conflicts across all fronts, including in Lebanon, which remains a major issue with Israel. Tehran has also demanded that the US stop the naval blockade of Iranian ports.
Ceasefire holds, but talks remain stuck
More than a month has passed since the US and Iran agreed to a fragile ceasefire, but negotiations have struggled to move forward as both sides continue to hold firm on their demands.
The ongoing conflict has affected global energy supply routes, contributing to rising oil prices and market uncertainty worldwide.

According to Axios, officials familiar with the discussions said Trump still wants a deal to end the conflict. However, Iran’s refusal to accept key American demands and its stand on the nuclear programme have reportedly pushed military options back into consideration.
