Sooryavanshi created history by registering the highest number of sixes by an Indian batter in a single IPL season. The young Rajasthan Royals opener reached the landmark during IPL 2026 after smashing three sixes against the Delhi Capitals.
With that effort, he moved past Abhishek Sharma’s previous tally of 42 sixes, which had come during the 2024 season. Sooryavanshi now has 43 sixes from just 12 matches, while Abhishek had needed 16 games to achieve his record.
