A wedding ceremony was held at the Pakistan Army headquarters on December 26 for the marriage of Army Chief General Asim Munir's daughter, Mahnoor. The groom was Abdul Rahman Qasim, son of Munir's brother. The event was conducted amid tight security and maintained a high level of secrecy.
Who attended Munir's daughter's wedding?
According to Pakistani media reports, around 400 guests were invited to the ceremony. The wedding was reportedly organised at the Pakistan Army headquarters for security reasons. Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the ISI chief, and senior officials of the Pakistan Army were present at the event.

The groom, Abdul Rahman, previously served as a captain in the Pakistan Army. He later left the military service and joined the civil administration under the quota reserved for army officers. He is currently serving as an Assistant Commissioner.

On December 26, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was also on a visit to Pakistan, sparking speculation about whether he would attend the wedding. However, Pakistani media reports said that he was not present at the ceremony.
