Over 18 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations this year are awaiting their results, with expectations building around an early announcement. The results are likely to be declared by the end of April, possibly around April 30. However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet confirmed an official date.
Faster evaluation may lead to early release
Traditionally, CBSE Class 12 results are announced in May. In the past three years, the results were declared on May 12 or May 13. This year, however, the evaluation process is reportedly being carried out at a faster pace, increasing the chances of an earlier release.

The Class 12 examinations for 2026 were conducted from February 17 to April 10. Since then, the board has been actively working on checking answer sheets and compiling results. The quicker turnaround in evaluation is seen as a key factor behind the expected April-end declaration.
This year, approximately 18.5 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exams. Among them were around 10.2 lakh boys and 8.3 lakh girls. With such a large number of candidates, the result announcement remains a major event for students and parents across the country.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 Result 2026, bringing relief and excitement to lakhs of students across the country.
