The manufacturing company has announced that production will be halted for the next year at its main factory in Kentucky. In this context, Jim Beam decided to halt production. It has been announced that the factory will be renovated during this time. The company has stated that decisions will be made based on future demand patterns. Production will continue at other locations, it has been announced.

The Jim Beam brand is owned by Japanese beverage company Suntory Global Spirits. 1,000 people work at the Kentucky factory. In response to imposing taxes on other countries, those countries have imposed retaliatory taxes. Alcohol is on that list.
