Entrepreneur Aman Gupta, known as a judge on Shark Tank India, has announced a new business venture named Offbeat Studios. The announcement was made on March 3 through a post on X.
Gupta, who co-founded audio brand boAt, had earlier stepped back from his operational role at the company. He currently serves as Non-Executive Director at its parent firm.
On X, he wrote, "With every birthday, some grow older, I grow bolder. I am still hungry, still impatient and still driven. Aman 2.0 begins soon. Introducing my new venture. @Offbeatstudios1".
He also shared the official handle of Offbeat Studios in the post.

Gupta did not provide further information about the new venture. There were no details on the sector in which Offbeat Studios will operate, its funding structure, business model, or official launch timeline.
In previous public interactions, Gupta has stated that he evaluates companies based on their foundation and quality before investing. He has often highlighted the importance of understanding a business thoroughly before committing capital.

Changes at boAt's parent company
boAt is owned by Imagine Marketing Limited. In September last year, the company underwent management changes.
Co-founder Sameer Mehta stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and took on the role of Executive Director. Gaurav Nayar was appointed as the new CEO. According to reports citing PTI sources, Aman Gupta continues as Non-Executive Director.
