Star-studded presenters list

Apart from Alia Bhatt, the presenters' roster features a wide mix of actors, musicians and filmmakers from across the globe. Names include Bryan Cranston, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Patrick Dempsey, Alicia Vikander, Kerry Washington, Stormzy, Riz Ahmed and Warwick Davis, among several others.

In addition, a number of nominees will also step on stage as presenters this year. These include Ethan Hawke, Michael B Jordan, Emily Watson and Stellan Skarsgard.

Alia's appearance continues a recent trend of Indian representation at the ceremony. Previously, Priyanka Chopra Jonas attended as a presenter in 2021, followed by Deepika Padukone in 2024.

Films leading the nominations

This year's nominations list is led by 'One Battle After Another', directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, with 14 nods. Close behind is 'Sinners' by Ryan Coogler, earning 13 nominations. 'Hamnet' from Chloe Zhao and 'Marty Supreme' by Josh Safdie secured 11 nominations each.

Meanwhile, 'Sentimental Value' by Joachim Trier and 'Frankenstein' from Guillermo del Toro received eight nominations apiece. India also marked its presence with 'BOONG', backed by Farhan Akhtar, earning a nomination in the Children's & Family Film category.

Alongside the celebrated nominations, the awards also saw several high-profile omissions. 'Wicked: For Good' stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande did not secure acting nominations. Films such as KPop Demon Hunters and No Other Choice were also absent from the final nominations list, making this year's lineup a mix of expected frontrunners and surprising exclusions.
