Filmmaker Kiran Rao has recently shared her current health condition on her social media handle. She stated that she is currently unwell after contracting chikungunya. The post was coupled with a picture of her resting in bed.

Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have maintained a cordial relationship and have often said that their friendship will remain intact, despite their divorce. Toward the end of last year, when Kiran was hospitalised after falling ill, she reportedly used Aamir’s name and surname on the hospital form, which drew public attention at the time.
Resting at home with books and her pet cat
In the recent picture shared online, Kiran is seen lying in bed with her pet cat beside her. Several books are placed near her feet. She has said that she currently does not have the strength to stand and remains confined to bed due to weakness caused by chikungunya.

Kiran mentioned that she hopes to recover soon, as many new books are waiting to be read. When she will be able to step out of her home remains uncertain. Aamir Khan lives close to Kiran’s residence. However, it is not known whether he has visited her after learning about her illness.
