CBFC orders the removal of intimate scenes
The CBFC asked the makers to remove a total of 96 seconds of kissing scenes from the film. The cuts were made during the certification process before the film was cleared for release, as per Hindustan Times.
The decision comes as part of the board’s review of intimate visuals in the film, which features multiple romantic sequences between the lead characters played by Lakshya and Ananya Panday.
Film receives U/A 16+ certification
After the required cuts, the film was granted a U/A 16+ rating by the CBFC. The certification allows the film to be viewed by audiences aged 16 and above, with parental guidance suggested for younger viewers.
The movie had already generated attention ahead of release due to its music, trailer, and on-screen pairing of Lakshya and Ananya Panday, with promotional material highlighting its romantic storyline.
