The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will declare the JEE Advanced 2026 results for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on June 1. The final answer key will be released earlier the same day at 10 am, followed by the results and the All India Rank (AIR) merit list on the official website, per a report by NDTV.
Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination will be able to check their scores and ranks online once the results are published.

AAT registration begins after JEE Advanced results
Students seeking admission to B.Arch programmes offered by Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee and Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi will need to appear for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
Registration for the AAT will start on June 1 and continue till June 2, 2026. The examination is scheduled for June 4, while the results will be announced on June 7.
JoSAA counselling and eligibility criteria
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process for admissions to IITs and other participating institutes.
During the counselling process, candidates will have to fill in their preferred institutes and courses before seat allocation begins.
To qualify for IIT admissions, candidates must secure at least 75 per cent marks in Class 12 examinations. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, the minimum required marks are 65 per cent.
Question paper and answer key schedule
IIT Roorkee has already released the JEE Advanced 2026 question paper on the official portal.

The response sheets are scheduled to be released on May 21, while the provisional answer key will be published on May 25. Candidates will be able to compare their responses and estimate scores before the final answer key and results are declared on June 1.
