Dacoit: A Love Story is still running in theatres, but its earnings slowed down on Day 4 after a good weekend. The movie stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur and has earned more than ₹20 crore in India.
After a strong start, the film saw a normal drop in collections on Monday because it was a weekday. Even then, it is doing well overall, especially in Telugu areas where more people are watching it than the Hindi version.
The movie is directed by first-time director Shaneil Deo. It got mixed reviews, but many people are still going to watch it, so it is continuing its box office journey.
Day 4 Box Office collection
According to trade website Sacnilk reports, the film earned ₹2.01 crore on its first Monday. Its total collection in India is now ₹21.81 crore. The drop was expected because weekdays usually earn less than weekends.

Weekend Collection details
Dacoit earned ₹6.55 crore on Friday and increased a little to ₹6.85 crore on Saturday. On Sunday, it collected ₹6.40 crore, showing a steady weekend but not a big jump. This steady performance gave the film a good start before weekdays, when collections usually go down.
Comparison with Adivi Sesh’s earlier films
The film has crossed ₹20 crore and may soon beat the ₹25.92 crore total of HIT: The Second Case.(2022) However, it still has a long way to go to reach ₹41.03 crore, which the film Major (2022)earned.
Cast, crew and industry reactions

Even after a normal drop on Monday, Dacoit is still doing steady business at the box office. It is performing especially well in Telugu regions, which is helping it stay strong.
Dacoit was planned to release in March but got delayed because Dhurandhar: The Revenge was already running strong in theatres. With good word-of-mouth and decent weekend earnings, the film is likely to continue its run and reach new milestones in the coming days.
