During a Star Sports interaction, Shubman Gill of Gujarat Titans, Ishan Kishan of Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajat Patidar of Royal Challengers Bengaluru were asked which player they would like to add to their teams. Interestingly, all three are named Sooryavanshi. Kishan even stated that the youngster would perfectly fit into Hyderabad’s aggressive approach and could be slotted straight into the opening position.

Sooryavanshi's rise is backed by solid performances. After being picked in the 2025 auction, he made an immediate impact, including a brilliant century against the Gujarat Titans. He also played a crucial role in India’s Under-19 World Cup-winning campaign, further showcasing his temperament on big stages.
