The heartthrob of Bollywood, Arjun Rampal, has officially announced his engagement to his longtime partner, fashion designer Gabriella Demetriades. The couple shared their happy news during a conversation on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, where a casual discussion about marriage naturally led to this big revelation. The announcement was intimate, no tailored moment, no grand gestures, yet it instantly captured widespread attention online.

A relationship rooted in love and family
Rampal and Demetriades have been together since 2018, steadily and beautifully building a life grounded in love and companionship. Gabriella, a South African model and fashion designer, has often shared her thoughts on balancing creative ambition with motherhood. The couple are parents to two sons, Arik (2019) and Arav (2023).
Reflecting on their relationship, Gabriella said, “Love comes with conditions. If the person behaves in a certain way, they get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?” Rampal added with his signature nonchalant humour, “I followed her because she was hot. Then I realised there’s a little more to it than just the hotness.”

Before his relationship with Gabriella Demetriades, Rampal was married to former supermodel Mehr Jesia. The pair chose to become an official legal couple in 1998 and have two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra. They announced their separation in 2018, with their divorce finalised in 2019, and continue to co-parent their daughters harmoniously.
