Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha on Wednesday announced the name of their newborn son, sharing the first glimpse of the baby boy on Instagram. The couple, who welcomed their child in October this year, revealed that they have named him Neer, a name they described as “pure, divine, limitless.”
In their joint post, Parineeti and Raghav shared two heartwarming pictures in which they are seen gently kissing their baby’s tiny feet, though his face remains unseen. “Jalasya rūpam, premasya svarūpam — tatra eva Neer.” Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘Neer’ — pure, divine, limitless.” they wrote. Interestingly, the name is a blend of Parineeti and Raghav, joining sounds from both their names.

Fans and friends shower love
As soon as the post went up, wishes poured in from friends and colleagues across the film industry.
Varun Dhawan dropped red-heart emojis, while Gauahar Khan wrote, “Congratulations.” Bharti Singh, Nimrat Kaur, Saba Pataudi, Kanika Kapoor and Hardy Sandhu also extended their greetings to the new parents.
Parineeti and Raghav welcomed their baby in October
The couple became parents in October 2025. They announced the baby’s arrival with an emotional Instagram note that read, “He is finally here! Our baby boy. And we literally can’t remember life before! Arms full, our hearts are fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything.”

Parineeti and Raghav got married on September 24, 2023. She was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. The film received an enthusiastic response from audiences.
