India’s film industry is about to witness a historic moment with the release of 120 Bahadur, a war epic by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios.
This film becomes the first in the country to be showcased across defence theatres nationwide, ensuring that a story of courage reaches the very heroes it celebrates.
This significant initiative is taken by PictureTime’s mobile cinema network. It will bring the movie to the army and their families posted in remote and underserved regions. The Farhan Akhtar-starrer film will be screened exclusively for the defence community in more than 800 cinema halls across India when it releases globally on November 21, 2025.

The release is being executed by PictureTime in collaboration with GenSync Brat Media, marking a major step toward accessibility and inclusion. For years, entertainment options for armed forces personnel have been limited, and this move aims to bridge that gap.
As per the report of Bollywood Hungama, explaining the scale of the effort, Sushil Chaudhary, Founder and CEO of PictureTime, said, “There are 1.5 million active soldiers and over six million viewers. But only 30 percent of India’s 20-million-strong veteran and family audience has access to defence cinemas. We aim to expand the ecosystem to additionally reach the underserved 70% and we begin with a bang with 120 Bahadur, a film we know will deeply resonate with the forces.”
