The trailer of Ranveer Singh’s comeback film Dhurandhar was released on Tuesday afternoon, drawing heavy attention for its hyper-violent action and Ranveer’s fiery transformation. Fans immediately drew comparisons between Ranveer’s look in the film and his intense Khilji era.
The trailer opens with Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal, dubbed the “Angel of Death,” torturing a captive while declaring his mission to “bleed India with a thousand cuts.” R. Madhavan appears as spymaster Sanyal, styled in an Ajit Doval-inspired silhouette. Akshaye Khanna’s Rehman Dakait and Sunny Deol’s Chaudhary Aslam add to the rising mayhem.

Fans call it Ranveer’s fiercest look yet
As reported by Hindustan Times, the trailer launch which was initially delayed after the Delhi Red Fort blast and concerns over Dharmendra’s health was met with overwhelming fan enthusiasm. Hours before the event, Ranveer revealed a poster on social media, describing himself as “The Wrath of God.”

Two-part release and three-hour runtime expected
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Dhurandhar is likely being released in two parts. The first instalment arrives in theatres on December 5, with the second projected for early 2026.

The same report states the film currently runs over 3 hours (around 3h 5m). The final approved runtime will be confirmed after discussions between Aditya Dhar, Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
The film features a heavyweight cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun.
