Sonu Sood announces free accommodation for stranded travellers

On Thursday, Sonu Sood took to his Instagram sharing a video message addressing travellers stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing crisis. In the video, the actor reassured that those affected would have a safe place to stay until their travel situation was resolved.

“Anyone who's stranded in Dubai because of the ongoing crisis, we just want to tell you that you have a place to stay. We’ll make sure that you get free-of-cost accommodation,” Sood said in the message.

He further added that the offer was open to everyone regardless of their nationality.

“Whoever, whether our fellow Indians, or people of any nationality who are stranded in Dubai, please send Dugasta Property a DM or me. We will make sure you get a free stay until you are able to return to your country. Jai Hind. God bless you all,” he said.

In the caption accompanying the video, Sood wrote, “War has left many travellers stranded in Dubai. If you or someone you know has nowhere to stay, we are offering free, safe accommodation. No nationality. No conditions. Just humanity.”

Fans appreciate gesture

Sood’s announcement quickly received widespread appreciation online, with many social media users praising his willingness to help people in this crisis situation.

One fan wrote, “Real hero of the Bollywood industry.”

Another commented, “You were raised by wonderful parents. Much respect to you.”

A third user added, “That takes guts to say any nationality. That shows humanity is above all.”

Sonu Sood’s initiative once again reflects his commitment to humanitarian causes during times of crisis.

Actors and travellers caught in Dubai disruptions

The flight cancellations left several travellers, including Indian celebrities, temporarily stranded in Dubai. Actors Sonal Chauhan and Esha Gupta were among those affected by the sudden travel disruptions.

Both actors, along with other Indian nationals, were reportedly stuck in the city for days before eventually returning home safely earlier this week. Authorities are continuing efforts to evacuate other citizens who remain stranded.

The crisis escalated after joint military operations led by the United States and Israel targeted locations in Iran, reportedly leading to significant casualties among Iranian political and military leadership.

In response, Iran launched attacks on US military bases in the region, escalating tensions across the Middle East. The growing situation disrupted regional air travel, forcing several airlines to cancel or reroute flights through hubs like Dubai.
