Vicky Kaushal joins celebs praising Dhurandhar; Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar also laud the film

Vicky Kaushal praises Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, calling it a “mammoth task” executed with brilliance. The film has crossed ₹300 crore worldwide amid industry acclaim.

Actor Vicky Kaushal has joined the growing list of industry voices celebrating the success of Dhurandhar, Aditya Dhar’s latest spy thriller that has stormed the box office since its December 5 release.

Early Friday morning, Vicky shared his reaction on Instagram Stories, praising Dhar’s filmmaking craft and the scale of the project. Posting a Dhurandhar poster, he wrote, “@adityadharfilms you beauty! What a mammoth task it must be for you and your team to pull this film with such conviction, finesse and first-rate world building… Hats off!”

He also applauded the cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan, adding, “Absolute PEAK PERFORMANCES! Technically brilliant. Supremely engaging. Kudos to all the Dhurandhars involved.”

Dhurandhar crosses ₹300 crore worldwide

The film’s commercial performance has surpassed industry expectations. Dhurandhar has collected an estimated ₹207 crore in its first week in India, while its overseas tally has crossed ₹50 crore, taking its worldwide total to roughly ₹306 crore.

The film’s strong run has sparked widespread praise from Bollywood

Hrithik Roshan, reacting to the film, wrote, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control… Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.”

Akshay Kumar also lauded Dhar’s direction, saying, “I’m blown away. What a gripping tale and you’ve simply nailed it @AdityaDharFilms. We need our stories to be told in a hard-hitting way and I’m so glad the audiences are giving the film all the love it deserves.”

With sustained momentum at the box office and strong word-of-mouth, Dhurandhar continues to cement Aditya Dhar’s reputation as one of today's most ambitious mainstream storytellers.
