From a child actress to the leading lady of a much-anticipated spy thriller, Dhurandhar, this talent has been it all. Meet Sara Arjun, the child star turned actress of 2025.
Born in 2005, this 20-year-old actress made her screen debut when she was 18 months old through a television commercial. It was before she could even talk! Her casting in the Ranveer Singh starrer has drawn immediate attention not only because of the film’s scale, but also because audiences have watched her grow from a widely admired child actor into a performer ready to take on more demanding, adult roles.
She stars alongside Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Sanjay Dutt, yet manages to make her own mark in the trailer.
What does the Dhurandhar cast say about her?
At the trailer launch of the film in Mumbai, Director Aditya Dhar claimed he had been through 1,300 auditions before choosing Sara for the role. At the event, he said, “She was brilliant and simply the best. She is going to be a rockstar.”
Her co-star, Ranveer Singh, called her a “prodigy”, drawing parallels with Actress Dakota Fanning. He says, "You are one of the finest actors that I have shared the screen with”.
