James Cameron's ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, the third chapter in the globally successful Avatar franchise, is set to make its digital debut following a successful run-in cinema. The film, which was released in theatres on December 19, 2025, received a strong response from both audiences and critics and continues the story of Jake Sully, Neytiri and the inhabitants of Pandora after the events of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’.

Avatar to now stream on JioHotstar

The sci-fi epic will begin streaming on JioHotstar from June 24, 2026. Produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau under Lightstorm Entertainment, the film explores themes of trauma, grief, survival and the resilience of family bonds while expanding the rich mythology of Pandora.

In ‘Avatar: Fire And Ash’, Jake Sully and his family are still coping with the loss of their child when they encounter the Ash People, a hostile Na’vi clan that worships fire and believes it has been abandoned by its goddess.
