Rajvir Jawanda, the singer and actor, passed away days after being injured in a road accident in Baddi of Himachal Pradesh. He was only 35. After 11days at Mohali's Fortis Hospital, the Punjabi singer ultimately passed away.

Jawanda was born in the Pona village of Ludhiana's Jagraon. He became a household name in Punjab and especially so among the Punjabi diaspora.
