The first trailer of the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day has entered the record books, achieving over 500 million views in just 24 hours of its release.

The trailer, featuring Tom Holland reprising his role as Spider-Man along with Zendaya, has broken all previous records, including the much-anticipated trailer of the Grand Theft Auto VI game, which had achieved 475 million views in a day. According to estimates, the trailer has achieved over 500 million views in just hours, although this will be confirmed by the studios.

The interest is quite remarkable since some of the scenes in the trailer had been making the rounds on the internet even before the scheduled launch.

The trailer provides a glimpse of the new Spider-Man suit and the introduction of new characters and the intensity of the battles they are in.

Life after ‘No Way Home’

The new Spider-Man is set four years after the events in Spider-Man: No Way Home and sees Peter Parker living in isolation after he erased his memory from the world, the Avengers, and the people he loves.

As per the official description, Spider-Man is now working full-time in a city that doesn’t know him anymore, and as the stakes get higher, he faces a new and formidable foe and a transformation that might change him physically as well.

There is a darker theme in the Spider-Man 3 trailer, and the speculation is around the character’s transformation into a ‘Man-Spider.’
