The Indian Premier League is all set to start from 28th April with the South Indian derby. Sunrisers Hyderabad is all set to face Royal; Challengers Bengaluru in Chinnaswamy Stadium. Ahead of the marquee clash, Virat Kohli along with other stalwart players, has joined the Royal Challengers Bengaluru training camp. With only 8 days left to the start of the IPL, Virat Kohli’s joining the camp will give the Bengaluru team a boost, like KKR. The red brigade also has a problem with pace bowling, with Josh Hazlewood’s uncertainty and questions over Yash Dayal putting the line-up in trouble. Though they had signed replacement players in the auction, Jacob Duffy can play a big role this season.

Young left-arm fast bowler Mangesh Yadav is also there. Other than that, they have several players like Kanishk Chauhan and Vihaan Malhotra, who have just come, having won the World Cup trophy. Venkatesh Iyer has also joined the camp, the Madhya Pradesh's all-rounder will look forward to finding his lost form.
Virat Kohli to play a key role
As Virat is not playing too much cricket, coming into the zone can take time but the form he has shown in the last three months there is no doubt RCB management will be looking forward to him again. The 37-year-old legend was seen to have a pep talk with his teammates. On the first day, he faced Venky Iyer, Bhuvi and Krunal Pandya with an aggressive approach.

The Karnataka government gave clearance to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to use the Chinnaswamy as their home ground for five matches with precautions. Raipur will host RCB’s other two home matches.
