BTS is gearing up for their biggest world tour of their career so far. The group of seven-members is reportedly planning a 65-stop global tour in 2026, with over 30 shows in North America, after the release of their first group album in six years.

According to a Bloomberg report, the members namely RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will reunite as a group after completing their mandatory military service. Their next album is expected to release by March 2026 which will mark their official return to the global music scene.

Group reunion after six years

BTS is currently spending their time in Los Angeles, collaborating with leading producers and composers for their upcoming record. This will be their first group project since Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020, a year that saw their planned world tour cancelled due to the pandemic.

Since then, each member has explored solo work starting from albums and global endorsements to individual tours while keeping fans connected through occasional performances and livestreams. The new album is expected to mark a fresh chapter for the group as they return to performing together after four years.

Biggest tour by a K-Pop group

Reports suggest the tour will cover major cities across Asia, Europe, and North America. With more than 30 concerts lined up in the U.S. and Canada, the scale is unlike anything ever attempted before by a K-pop band.

However, in response to reports, BIGHIT MUSIC said in a statement that “the schedule and scale of the new world tour have not been decided yet.”

Despite that, the anticipation around BTS’s return continues to build. Their last major group performance was the ‘Yet to Come’ concert in Busan in October 2022 was watched by nearly 50 million people worldwide. Before that, their final international tour stop was in Las Vegas in April 2022.

Leader RM confirmed earlier this year that the group’s album will drop in spring 2026, aligning with their reunion plans. The comeback marks the end of BTS’s longest break since debut, and fans who are collectively known as ARMY are already preparing for what is expected to be one of the most extensive and high-profile tours in pop history.
